How it works
Most companies give you a single e-mail address like JohnDoe@yahoo.com. Instead, we give you an infinite amount of e-mail addresses on a domain that we register just for you. So John from our example address above would get a domain name like JohnDoe.com and thus he would own every-possible-address@JohnDoe.com. The key to the success to this system then relies on you. Whenever you give out your e-mail address, regardless of who it is, you must give a unique address. Here is what we suggest. If John was giving his e-mail address to his online broker, (say e-Trade, just for sake of having an example) he could give them the address "etrade@JohnDoe.com". Remember, since all e-mail at the domain 'JohnDoe.com' gets forwarded to Johns e-mail account, he would automatically receive any messages sent to him at this address.

Now lets say that a few months later, John starts getting spam. He can look at the e-mail address that the spam was sent to and lets assume that it was sent to etrade@JohnDoe.com. John can then simply 'turn off' this exact address and the spam will stop instantly. The real benefit lies in the fact that John will know that e-Trade somehow either gave or sold his e-mail address and John and act accordingly with e-Trade. (We use e-Trade purely as an example.)
